Legend above: "THE AFRICANA COMMEMORATIVE MINT / OUR CAPE COIN HERITAGE" and below: "ONS KAPSE MUNTERFNIS / DIR AFRICANA HERDENKINGSMUNT". The rows are divided in half vertically by a wooden slat naming each row: "The Dutch Collection", "The British Collection", "The Seaborne Empires", "The Dollar Dynasties" and "Tavern of the Seas".

The set comes with a booklet by Professor M.T.W Arnheim giving the background of each coin replicas. There is also signed certificate from both the South African Bureau of Standards and the Africana Commemorative Mint stating that the issue was limited to 5,000 sets.
