Notes: The Duke and Duchess of Connaught together with their daughter Princess Patricia toured Rhodesia between 14 and 21 November 1910.

Earlier in the month the Duke had opened the first Union of South Africa parliament.

The tour had been originally planned for Prince George, the son of King Edward VII. However King Edward died in May 1910 and Prince George became King George V. The Duke of Connaught, brother of the old King, was his replacement. Presumably this medal had been made prior to the new arrangement.
