Obverse: Crowned busts of King and Queen, left. Legend: "KING.GEORGE.V.AND.QUEEN MARY (left) CROWNED.JUNE.22.1911 (right)". Indistinct registration number: "RG.573589 . SALE ." round rim at bottom.

Reverse: On left, Britannia standing on a rocky promontory, holding trident, lion and British Union shield behind. On right, angle standing on a cloud, holding laurel branch. The two shaking hands across a world globe below showing Africa. Crowned monogram: "GRI" above. Behind everything, sea with sun on the horizon: "1911 (in an arc)", rays extending outwards to the rim. At the foot round the rim: "RG.573589 (left) SALE (right)".
