Form: Circular. Holed for a ring to a second for a ribbon. The ribbon is either blue or red-while. Suspended from pin-back bar “1911” flanked by national flowers of Great Britain and with crown above.

Edge: Plain.

Obverse: Conjoined busts of King and Queen, crowned and robed, left. Signed: “ELKINGTON” on truncation and: “A.HALLIDAY” on right. Legend : “GEORGIUS.V.D.G.REX.ET.IMP.ET MARIA.REGINA”.

Reverse: 1882 coat of arms of Bloemfontein with antelope supporters and flaming grate crest. On the shield, two cornucopia, in an an arc above: "BLOEMFONTEIN” and below, the motto: “FLOREAT” on an an ornamented ribbon. Above across: “JUNE 22ND. / 1911”.

Notes: Bloemfontein is the capital of the Orange Free State.
