Edge: Upright reeded.

Obverse: Within a beaded border round the rim, conjoined crowned and robed busts of the King and Queen, left. Signed: :"H.G." below. Legend: "KING GEORGE V (left) QUEEN MARY (right".

Reverse: Within a beaded circle, across: "WITH / HARVEY, GREENACRE / & Co.'s / COMPLIMENTS". Legend, outside the beaded circle and within a beaded border round the rim, above: "TO COMMEMORATE THEIR MAJESTIES CORONATION" and below between five-pointed stars: "1911".

Notes: Harvey, Greenacre & Company was established in the 1890s as drapers, outfitters and general importers. They owned a large emporium in West Street, Durban.
