Robert Bryden (1865-1939) was a Scottish artist and sculptor. He was born at Coylton, Ayrshire. As a young man he studied Royal Society of Arts and Royal Academy in London. He returned to settle in Ayrshire where he became a prolific etcher but also produced works in a variety of media. His medallic portraits are not common.
