Obverse: Bust of King George V crowned and robed, left. Orb on left, laurel branch below. Signed: “BM” below orb. Legend on a ribbon: “GEORGE V CROWNED JUNE 22 1911”.

Reverse: Bust of Queen Mary crowned and robed, left. Garland of roses below. Legend on a ribbon: “QUEEN MARY JUNE 22 1911”.

Comes in a red fitted case lined on the inside with silk and blue velvet. On the outside of the lid in gilt, crowned: "GvR" monogram with: "CORONATION MEDAL" below. On the inside of the lid in gilt, crowned: "RM" for the Royal Mint.
