Obverse: Within a beaded border round the rim, diademed bust of the young Queen Wilhelmina, head turned left. Small Lion of Nassau at the bottom. Signed below: "GRUEBER R.W.A." Legend: "DOMINE, SALVAM FAC REGINAM NOSTRAM".

Reverse: Within a toothed border round the rim, across: "TER HERINNERING (in an arc) / AAN DE / INHULDIGING / VAN H.M. KONINGIN / WILHELMINA / (line) / 6 SEPTEMBER 1898."

Notes: Queen Wilhelmina was crowned on 6 December 1898 six days after her 18th birthday.
