Obverse: Conjoined busts of King and Queen, left, both crowned and draped. Around: "GEORGE.V. (left) MARY (right)". On a wide band round rim, names of Empire territories in panels followed by a representative animal. From the top clockwise: "SOUTH AFRICA (springbok) NEW ZEALAND (kiwi) NEWFOUNDLAND (fish) INDIA (tiger) CANADA (moose) AUSTRALIA (kangaroo)".

Reverse: Peace standing on a globe, front, holding dove on right shoulder. At her feet, cherubs left and right with spilling cornucopia. Behind a precession of allegorical figures moving left representing arts, litterature, industry and agriculture. Legend above a line: "SILVER JUBILEE / AD 1935".
