Reverse: Raised reeded rim. Laurel wreath tied at the bottom with a ribbon. Space within for engraving. This medal blank. Stamped: "SILVER"

Notes: The Ladysmith High School was founded in 1906 as part of the reconstruction of the Town after the Boer War. It is believed that the original name was the Ladysmith Technical High School, The present day motto is the same as on this medal.
