Notes: The plaque was produced by the electrotype method. First a sculpture was made of the design in some material. A casting was made of the sculpture and the mould coated with carbon. Electrolysis over several hours then coated the mould with a gradually thickening layer of copper. Once completed the copper sheet was removed from the mould and cleaned off.

The design was sculpted by Louis Frederick Roselieb (1878-1940) best known for his WWI war memorials. He was the son of George Louis Roselieb.

The plaque was made from the design by B. Dellagana & Co. Ltd., electrotypers and stereotypers of Manchester, London and Liverpool.
