Edge: A rounded continuation of the wreaths bordering the two sides.

Obverse: Within a raised border of a wreath tied at the bottom and joined at the top, conjoined, crowned and robed busts of King Edward and Queen Alexandra, left.

Reverse: Within a raised border of a wreath tied at the bottom and joined at the top, crowned monogram of King Edward VII. Below, in an arc: "26 June 1902".

Notes: Presented to dignitaries and officers attending or involved with the coronation. A similar medal in bronze was presented to NCOs and other ranks.
