The city was founded by Leander Starr Jameson of the British South Africa Company and opened for white settlement in 1894.
Comes inside a fitted square case covered on the outside with dark blue cloth. Lined on the inside with white and blue material. Also a descriptive pamphlet within which is a numbered (300) certificate stating a mintage a 500.
