At the top of the wreath is the Star of India and, at the bottom, the coat of arms of Great Britain. Entwined round the wreath is a ribbon with the names of Empire territories: from the top clockwise: “INDIA”, “CAPE”, “CANADA”, “GREAT BRITAIN”, “N. ZEALAND”, “AUSTRALIA”.
