Edge: Plain. Thickness of bezel ring 3.8 mm. Medal thinner.

Obverse: Bareheaded busts of the King, on left facing slightly right, and the Queen on right facing slightly left. On a scroll below: "CROWNED JUNE 1911".

Reverse: Ornamentally engraved across: "LAWN TENNIS / DIAMOND FIELDS / CORONATION MEDAL. / WON BY / T.B. MELLET / JUNE 22ND. 1901." Stamped with the maker's mark: "JA&S" and the Birmingham silver hallmark for 1910-11.

Notes: The coronation took pace of 22 June 1911.
