Obverse: Bust of Queen Victoria, left, veiled and with small crown. Signed: "M.B.LD" on truncation. Legend: “VICTORIA REGINA ET IMPERATRIX”.

Reverse: Royal coat of arms with supporters. In an arc above: “IN COMMEMORATION” and below across: “OF HER MOST / GRACIOUS MAJESTY’S / VISIT TO IRELAND / 1900”. Three shamrocks at the foot.

Notes: Queen Victoria visited the city of Dublin in Ireland during the month of April 1900. There she paid tribute the the valour of Irishmen who were fighting in the Boer War. She was then 80 years old and died the following year.
