Stirling is the county town of Stirlingshire in central Scotland. Stirling Castle is the headquarters of the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders. The regiment was garrisoned there during the Boer War.
The top coat of arms is the ancient coat of arms of Stirling granted in 1624. The other two are unidentified.
