Obverse: Crowned and robed bust of the King, right. Legend: "EDWARDVS VII. D.G. BRITT. REX. F.D. IND. IMP".

Reverse: Crowned arms of Great Britain with motto: "HONI.SOIT.QUE.MAL.Y.PENSE" on a garter around. Four colonial shields named on ribbons around: India (left), Australia (right), Cape Colony (lower right) and Canada (lower left). In the angles below the ribbons: "GOD SAVE THE KING". Garland of rose, thistle and shamrock at the bottom. Legend on a raised band outside a beaded border: "BORN NOV 9 1841 ASCENDED JAN 22 1901 CROWNED JUNE 26 1902". Stop at the foot.
