Obverse: Within a toothed border round the rim, bare heads of the King and Queen, right. Crown above with sprig of oak (left) and laurel (right), small star below. Legend: “KING EDWARD VII . (left) QUEEN ALEXANDRA (right)”. Small cross with four dots in the angles at the foot.

Reverse: Toothed border round the rim. Within a garter: “HONI . SOIT . QVI MAL . Y . PENSE”, shields of England, Scotland and Ireland arranged in triangular form with thistle, rose and shamrock between and crown at the top. In small letters at the bottom of the garter: “L. CHR. LAUER, NUREMBERG”. Legend outside: “GREAT BRITAIN . IRELAND . CANADA . AUSTRALIA . SOUTH AFRICA . INDIA”.
