Obverse: Within a circular toothed border, veiled and diademed head of Queen Victoria, left. Outside the border, legend on a raised band: “VICTORIA DEI GRATIA BRITANIAR: REG: F: D:”

Reverse: Clasped hands (right royal, left commoner) above sea with radiant sun on horizon. On a ribbon above: “FRATERNITY”. Signed below the exergue line: “W. O. LEWIS (left) BIRMH. (right)”. In the exergue, radiant Queen's crown above: “1837 1887”. Legend: “IN COMMEMORATION OF THE JUBILEE REIGN OF H.G.M. QUEEN VICTORIA”. At the foot of the bronze medal: "COPYRIGHT". At the foot of the WM medal: “.RD. 58147.”
