Obverse: Within a central medallion, the veiled bust of Queen Victoria, front and slightly left, with legend: “QUEEN VICTORIA”. Surrounding this, four semicircles forming the shape of a four-leaf clover with ornaments in the angles and rays extending to the rim. Top, a crown: “BORN 1819”. Left, a rose: “CROWNED 1838”. Right, shamrocks: “MARRIED 1840”. Bottom, thistles: “JUBILEE 1887”

Reverse: Queen Victoria seated on a throne, hands outstretched flanked by figures representing countries of the British Empire. On the right, three standing figures in the national costumes of Scotland, Ireland and Wales.
