Notes: Agricultural shows were organised by the Society in Pretoria between 1894 and 1899. It is believed that the shows were held during March or April immediately after or before the Rand show in Johannesburg. The shows ceased during the Boer war. They recommenced during the early 1900s when the ZAR had become the British Transvaal Colony. They probably ceased permanently after Union in 1910. The bronze medal here is from a latter show.
