Obverse: Rendition of the Cullinan Diamond on which is superimposed miniatures of four gold coins that circulated in South Africa:

Reverse: Within a protea wreath, across: "Presented to / Michael Laidlaw / for / Services to / Numismatics. / 2015".

Notes: Presented inside a red leather cased lined with white silk and red velvet.

The obverse is the emblem of the National Numismatic Society Previously the Transvaal Numismatic Society).

The award was made to the author of this website in recognition of the value of these pages to South African Numismatics at a dinner in the Sun Coat Casino on Saturday 16 May 2015. The dinner proceeded the Natal Coin Show held the following day.
