Obverse: Bust of Queen Victoria, left, veiled and diademed. Legend: "VICTORIA QUEEN AND EMPRESS". Garland of roses, thistles and shamrocks at the foot.

Reverse: Continuous laurel wreath encircling, across: "(ornament) / VISIT OF / THE QUEEN / TO DUBLIN / 1900 / (ornament)". Legend: "PARISH OF THE UNION DRUMANDRA AND NORTH STRAND."

Notes: Queen Victoria visited the city of Dublin in Ireland during the month of April 1900. There she paid tribute the the valour of Irishmen who were fighting in the Boer War. She was then 80 years old and died the following year.

The Anglican Parish of Drumcondra (old name Drumandra) and North Strand is in the north of Dublin.
