Obverse: Within a toothed border round the rim, heads of the King (bare) and Queen (diademed), left. Crown above flanked by sprig of oak (left) and laurel (right), small star below. Legend below: "KING GEORGE V AND QUEEN MARY".


Reverse: Beaded border round the rim. Within a garter: “HONI.SOIT.QVI MAL.Y. PENSE”, shields of England, Scotland and Ireland arranged in triangular form with thistle, rose and shamrock between and crown at the top. In small letters at the bottom of the garter: “L.CHR.LAUER, NUREMBERG”. Legend outside: “GREAT BRITAIN.IRELAND.CANADA.AUSTRALIA.SOUTH AFRICA.INDIA”.
