Edge: Plain

Obverse: Raised toothed rim. Within a beaded border round the rim, veiled and crowned (small) bust of the Queen, left. Signed on the truncation: "J.CARTER SC." Legend: "VICTORIA REGINA ET IMPERATRIX".

Reverse: Raised toothed rim. Within a continuous laurel wreath, across in radiant large letters: "VICTORIA". Legend outside wreath above: "BORN MAY 24TH. 1819, DIED JANUARY 22ND. 1901" and below: "ENTER THOU INTO THE JOY OF THE LORD".

Notes: Comes in a square red case lined with blue silk and blue velvet.
