Obverse: Conjoined crowned busts of the King and Queen, left, he in uniform. Legend: "H.M. GEORGE V, R&I (left) H.M. MARY, QUEEN (right)". At the foot: "MADE IN ENGLAND".

Reverse: Inclined shields linked by clasped hands below. On the left shield, symbols of the countries of the British Empire (Canada, Australia, India, New Zealand and South Africa). On the right shield, symbols of the WW1 allied countries (Britain, France, America, Italy and Russia(?)). Above inclined shields, a shield of the British Union surmounted by a lion. The whole flanked by a garland of flowers (left: rose, shamrock, thistle and daffodile) and laurel branch (right) joined by a ribbon below: "UNITED IN THE CAUSE OF LIBERTY". Below that: "REG NO 565632". Legend from the top anticlockwise: "TO COMMEMORATE THE TERMINATION OF THE GREAT WORLD WAR.COMMENCED 4 AUG 1914.ARMISTICE 11 NOV 1918.PEACE 28 JUNE 1919"
