Notes:
|
St. Anne's Diocesan College is a school for girls. It was founded in 1877 and was housed in 'The Manse', Pietermaritz Street, Pietermaritzburg. In 1904 the School moved to its present location in Hilton. The author of the website lives in Hilton.
Presumably, thees medals were named and presented to each girl as part of the centenary celebrations. There is a reference to Dorcas Pugsley, a pupil at the school in 1980.
