Obverse: Veiled and diademed bust of Queen Victoria, left. Signed: "FENWICK.F." on truncation. Garland of rose, thistle and shamrock below. Legend on a raised band above: "BOER WAR SOUVENIR 1899-1900" and below between diamond stops: " THE QUEEN GOD BLESS HER".
