Obverse: Within a beaded border round the rim and a second inner border, conjoined crowned and robed busts of King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra, right. Signed: "SALE" at the foot. Downwards on left: "JUNE" then across: "26". Legend on a roughened band between the beaded borders: "EDWARD VII (rose) ALEXANDRA (shamrock) CROWNED.1902 (thistle)".

Reverse: Bareheaded busts in uniform, front, of the two Boer War Commandeers-in-Chief: General Roberts (left) and General Kitchener (right). In an arc above: "SOUTH AFRICA". Legend on a raised band above: "CELEBRATION OF PEACE" and between floral stops below: "MAY 31, 1902".

Notes: Treaty of Vereeniging was the peace treaty, signed on 31 May 1902, that ended the Boer War.
