Johan August Wahlberg (1810-1856) was a Swedish naturalist and African Explorer. He is renowned for his collection of African bird species. The Wahlberg Eagle is named after him. He was killed by an elephant while on a collecting trip in Matabeleland.
Lea Fredrika Ahlborn (1826-1897) was a famous Swedish artist.
