The Oppenheimer Memorial Gardens in Kimberley is a memorial to Sir Ernest Oppenheimer, mining magnate and former mayor of Kimberley. Within the gardens is the Miners Memorial or Diggers Fountain erected to honour diamond diggers, past and present. The statue was designed by Herman Wald.
