Within a narrow wreath-like border, helmeted British officer, kneeling on rocky ground, surrendering his sword to a Boer soldier holding a pistol and smoking a pipe. To the left a small tree and, on the right, a radiant sun partly behind a mountain. Legend: “1899-1900”. The exergue is blank.

Within a narrow wreath-like border, Coat of arms of the Z.A. Republic with six flags, eagle crest and the motto: “EENDRAGT MAAKT MAGT” on a ribbon below. Signed at the foot: “PÁTEK (left) PRAHA” (Prague, left)".
