Reverse: Across with Queen's crown at the top: "RELIEF / OF / MAFEKING / 1900". Legend above divided by the crown: "MAY (left) 18TH.(right)" and below: "BESIEGED 218 DAY". Signed: "SALE (left) BIRM (right)".
