Obverse: In the centre within a circular frame crowned at the top, diademed and veiled head of Queen Victoria, left, against a background of two crossed standards bearing Australian flag (left) and the Royal arms (right). In an arc below within quotes: “LEST WE FORGET”. Legend above: “IN COMMEMORATION OF PEACE” and below between stops: “BRITISH & TRANSVAAL WAR 1900”.

Reverse: Bareheaded bust of Lord Roberts in uniform, half left. Legend on a raised band above: “FIELD-MARSHAL LORD ROBERTS, V.C.” and below between stars: “S. AFRICA”.
