Comes in a cardboard frame labeled: " RHODESIAN HISTORY / MEDALLION / Volume Five" mounted inside an oblong transparent plastic holder and presented in a cardboard box with a certificate which states that 2,000 silver medals and 2,000 bronze medals were issued.
On March 3, 1978, Ian Smith signed the Internal Settlement Agreement with Bishop Abel Muzorewa, the Reverend Ndabaningi Sithole and Chief Jeremiah Chiarau. The agreement excluded the militant leaders of the Patriotic Front Robert Mugabe and Joshua Nkomo who are waging a guerrilla war against the Rhodesia from the neighbouring states of
Mozambique and Zambia. Under this agreement elections were held and Bishop Abel Muzorewa became prime minister on 1 June 1979. However, international recognition was not forthcoming.
