In the centre, four crossed flag standards, two on the left and two on the right, linked together in the middle by a caduceus with spilling cornucopiae on each side. Above, a radiant cartouche surmounted by crown, inscribed: “PEACE / CELEBRATION” around an oval showing clasped hands. Below the flags on two scrolls with laurel branches behind: “SOUTH AFRICA / 1900”.
