Obverse: Engraved ornaments on the arms of the cross. On the shield, incused across: “(line) / BROXBURN / DEMONSTRATION (line) / PRETORIA / 1900 (rays on each side) / (line)”.

Reverse: Blank.

Notes: The workmanship is basic and the engraving on the outer cross is not consistent. Two varieties are shown here.

Broxburn is a village located in the South of Scotland in West Lothian. It is recorded that in the neighbouring town of Armadale there was a Children's Demonstration on Saturday 9th June 1900 to celebrate the occupation of Pretoria. 1,600 children participated in the event.
