Conjoined crowned busts of the King and Queen, left, he robed. Legend in Gothic script: “T.M. King George V. – and – Queen Mary (ornament)”.

Britannia standing on left supporting oval British Union shield in right hand and with the other holding a trident resting across the top of the British Empire shield with lion behind lying on a plinth. The new arms of the Union of South Africa replace the arms of the Cape Colony on the Empire shield. Across above: “CORONATION / 22 JUNE 1911” and above that, the British Royal coat of arms. Legend: "PRESENTED BY THE CORPORATION OF DUNDEE". In the exergue: “. NATAL .”.
