Edge: Upright reeded.

Obverse: Queen's crown containing two small facing busts in the voids. On the left, the King bareheaded in uniform, right. On the right, the Queen diademed, left. Above in an arc: “CORONATION” and below: “1902”. Around the rim at the foot: “MADE IN GERMANY”. Beaded border round the rim.

Reverse: A projection of the hemispheres of the world onto two roundels, on the left the Americas and on the right Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia. Crude hatching marking the extent of the British Empire. Below in an arc round the left roundel: “BRITISH” and the right: “EMPIRE”. Above the world map: “BARRATT (in an arc) / & CO’S” and below: “SWEETS / ARE PURE (in an arc)”. Beaded border round the rim.
