Within a wreath of various national flowers (roses, thistles, shamrocks, maple, oak and others) across: “VICTORIA E.I. / BORN MAY 24.1819 / ASCENDED JUNE 20.37 / CROWNED JUNE 28.38 / MARRIED FEB 10.40 / JUBILEE 1887 (in an arc)”. Superimposed on the wreath, six shields bearing the coat of arms of Empire countries with their names on a ribbon which winds round the wreath. From the top clockwise: India, Cape Colony, Canada, Great Britain (at bottom, crowned), New Zealand and Australia.
