Within a beaded border round the rim, Britannia on a chariot drawn by two lions. Justice and Genius on the left, Wisdom on the right. Legend: “. ANNUS . JUBILÆUS . 1887”. In the exergue, the arms of the City of London with dragon supporters and motto: “DOMINE DIREGE NOS”.
