Edge: Plain.

Obverse: In the centre within an irregular frame, a blue enamelled plaque: "NOV / 1918 (slanted)". On the right a South African soldier holding palm frond(?) and rifle and, on the right, a South African sailor holding palm frond(?) and British Union flag. Legend above: "PEACE" and below: "WITH HONOUR".

Reverse: Across between ornamental line: "WEDBERG, / CAPE PROVINCE / S,A.". Legend above: "COMMEMORATION OF THE GREAT WAR" and below between star stops: "1914 TO 1919". Stamped above the upper ornamental line with a dove(?) on a shield and below: "SILVER".

Notes: Wedberg ia a farm in the Northern Cape nearby to Windsorton and about 25 km north of Kimberley.
