Arms of the cross in white enamel with: "E (left) L (right) across. On the central circular part, a red enamel band around a cross on a white enameled background. Legend on the band above: "LOOK UP" and below between stops: "LIFT UP".

Across with embellishments: "PRESENTED / To / F.H. Dunham / ON HIS / Return from the South African War / BY / CENTENNIAL EPSWORTH LEAGUE / 29/10/00" Stamped: "10K" at the foot.

Frederick Harold Dunham served with 2nd (Special Service) Battalion Royal Canadian Regiment. On the QSA medal roll for that unit he appears as: "7335 Pte Dunham" with clasps Paardeberg, Driefontein and Cape Colony.
In WW1 he was awarded the Military Cross while serving with the 58th Battalion Canadian Infantry, 2nd Central Ontario Regiment. After the war he was lieutenant-colonel commanding the Queen's York Rangers.
The Epworth League is Methodist youth Organization.
